About Us

One Horizon Foundation (OHF) is a youth and family empowerment organization dedicated to helping young people rise beyond barriers, reclaim their voice, and lead with purpose. Founded to address inequities in education, housing, and opportunity across Santa Clarita and Los Angeles County, OHF builds pathways for youth, parents, and educators to connect, grow, and create change together.

The One Horizon Foundation delivers transformative programs that blend leadership development, restorative practices, social-emotional learning, and civic engagement. Through our flagship programs, including Not Another Statistic™ Youth Leadership Academy and the Voices for Change initiative, we prepare youth to excel academically, lead confidently, and advocate for equity in their schools and communities.

OHF has partnered with schools across the William S. Hart Union High School District, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s VIDA Program, the City of Santa Clarita’s youth diversion initiatives, and several community efforts focused on increasing belonging, opportunity, and safety for local families. We are deeply committed to collaboration, working alongside schools, government agencies, cities, and nonprofits to meet the evolving needs of youth and families
The organization’s founder, Ramses Mayorga Jr., is a community leader, public servant, and entrepreneur whose work centers on breaking generational cycles, building sustainable community networks, and empowering system-impacted and underserved youth to lead with purpose. A graduate of California State University Northridge (B.A Economics) His background in public service, youth development, economics, and entrepreneurship shapes the foundation of OHF’s work, grounding each program in culturally responsive practices, real-world leadership skills, and long-term pathways to personal and community success.

Our mission is to empower youth, engage parents, and strengthen communities through leadership pathways, social-emotional development, civic engagement, parent empowerment, and restorative practices.

The Compass represents direction, alignment, and purpose. It reminds us that our work is about more than coping it’s about helping every participant find their center, chart a clear path, and move confidently toward who they want to become.
